Maryland signs the Thomas Bloom Raskin Act

The Maryland Legislature passed the Thomas Bloom Raskin Act, effective July 1. The Act requires the state to offer opt-in mental health services calls and periodic check-ins and authorizes the Maryland Governor to allocate a budget for implementing these services.
