Our Mission

The Tommy Raskin Memorial Fund for People and Animals was created in the name and vision of our dear Tommy Raskin, who we lost in 2020 at the age of 25. Throughout his life, Tommy was a gentle but strong champion for the voiceless, who cared deeply about those suffering in poverty and animal welfare. He was a Harvard Law student, a brilliant poet, a philosopher and an important light in so many lives. The extreme devastation that was felt after his death quickly turned into action, and the Fund was founded in early 2021, as a way to carry on Tommy’s generous work and spirit.
