Mercy for Animals receives grant for summer 2022 internship program

We are announcing a $15,000 grant to Mercy for Animals where Tommy was a legal intern summer 2020 and part of a longstanding unpaid internship program. The program develops legal advocates who focus on alleviating animal suffering and preventing exploitative practices against animals. This grant is going to support three interns for next summer at $5,000 apiece and help Mercy for Animals attract a group of excellent candidates who need a stipend to pursue this amazing opportunity. Tommy learned so much about being an effective lawyer, writer and advocate at Mercy for Animals and we want others to enjoy the same experience while building the strength of the animal rights movement.

Mercy for Animals released a corresponding announcement.
